Governance

Our Local Governing Body (LGB) is a committed and hard working group made up of members of our community, who meet as a full board each half term to discuss the effective running of school within our governance model, as delegated through the Trust Board at Pope Francis Catholic MAT.

The remit for the Local Governing Body is to:

Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
Hold the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff
Oversee the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent
